Wednesday, July 8th

Here's the view from my hotel balcony. It's about 6:45 am. You may be able to hear the rooster crowing in the background and the sounds of our little village waking up. Another day of ministry is ahead! Yesterday the playground equipment came in, which was so exciting. A crowd of children began to assemble at the gate as the brightly colored slides, and swings and see-saws were off loaded. The new little playground looks like "Six Flags" in this neighborhood. I can't wait to see the faces of the children when they see it today! We are almost "Dunn" with the entryway make-over. It is beautiful...just a few more of Judy's accessorizing skills and the place will be transformed. She did a number on Liviu's office, he's the director of the Child Development Center where we are working. Liviu is a mild mannered wonderful man who loves the children and who I think is almost more excited about the playground than the children! It was neat to see his excitement as each piece of equipment came off the truck. I'll definately have to post some video today. Pray for good internet access!

Well, I must be off to breakfast now.

  1. Hey, John Frank and crew! Great pics. Can't wait to see the finished entry makeover and the new 'Six Flags over Romania'. Please explain Bob Dunn and his unusual attire. Such beautiful children with such happy little faces. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date.
